It's time for the fanboys (and fangirls) to unite and cast a vote for their favorite Nintendo DS game of all time.At the end of the week, we'll tally up the votes and announce the name of the new king of DS games. You can vote for any game that has been released for the DS since its launch, including imports. Please do not vote for homebrews or emulations or Madden '05.

Of all the DS games I've played so far, I'm going to say Meteos. I got sick of waiting for it and ended up grabbing it from an import store about a month before the US release, and don't regret doing so one bit. I'd love to see a Wi-fi enabled version of that. Other favorites of mine include Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Kirby Canvas Curse, Ouendan and Electroplankton (find some good speakers to hook your DS up to and this one sounds incredible.)

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is most definatly the best DS game I have. I've loved them all (except Nintendogs *ducks*), but Ouendan is unquestionably number one.

I'm having such a hard time deciding. I've have Mario Kart, Castlevania, and Meteos for a few weeks and all three are fnatastic. they're all such differnet gneres that it's hard to make a decision as to which one is actrually best. Last night I just picked up Tony Hawk (I'm a big Hawk series fan) and Animal Crossing. I haven't even had a chance to play animal crossing yet, but I know it's gonna be good. Hawk plays awesome for a handheld too. I wouldn't say it was the best game is it's not really original, but of the other 4 who knows. all this means though is I have 5 really kick ass DS games to play. can't wait to play Mario and Luigi as well, but my plate is pretty full at the moment.

Its a close race between Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario Kart DS but I think that Mario Kart DS comes out on top almost completely because of Nintendo's brand new Wi-Fi connection but all in all they are both great games.

As many others have said already, I'd also have to go with Mario Kart DS as the best. A close second (to me) would be Advance Wars DS...even though it's just a small update to the GBA version. Sometimes I have a hard time determining which game gets my attention since I'm a very casual player. Last week I played Mario Kart...this week Advance Wars. I'm already getting the itch to complete more Grand Prix races....man I love Mario Kart =)

I am surprised at how few votes are being cast for Castlevania. It is, without a doubt, one of the best looking and playing games in the DS library... and it exploits the DS' functionality in very unique ways that actually enhances the experience.
Don't get me wrong. I've got Kart. It's amazing. The WiFi support brings it to a whole new level. But, as far as style, variety, and overall quality, I think Castlevania takes it. I am hoping that Metroid takes over in March.

Mineīs probably a tie between Kirby and Castlevania. i donīt really take the multiplayer action into account as itīs not yet what Iīd expect it to be.
Iīm just waiting for my import of Partners in time - that might top the others.
