2005 was very good to the Nintendo DS. The Associated Press writes: "Nintendo Co. said Tuesday that it has sold about 10 million of its Nintendo DS handheld game systems worldwide, including about 4 million in North America and more than 5 million in Japan. Perrin Kaplan, vice president for marketing at Nintendo's U.S. headquarters in Redmond, said the company sold about 3 million of the handheld gaming gadgets to North American consumers in 2005."In related, competitive fanboy news, the PSP has sold only 2.7 millions units as of December 1, 2005. That is during a smaller life span, but the main culprit has got to be the lack of quality games for Sony's black portable.

1. The PSP came out a week after the DS in Japan. Its life span is the same as far as i'm concerned.
