It was just the other day that I was wishing for a decent online IM program for the DS, and it seems that my wish is already being fulfilled. Well, somebody's at least vagely hinting at doing so sometime in the future maybe. On another note, I wish for a million dollars. We'll check back on that next week.Meetro, in case you weren't aware (and you probably weren't) is a unified IM service of sorts that places special emphasis on your location. It supports a bunch of IM clients such as AIM, ICQ and MSN and allows you to find and meet people that are both geographically close to you and share similar interests. It's truly a great way for victims and stalkers to meet.
Studies have shown that 9 out of 10 stalkers carry a DS, and so it can only be considered as good news that Meetro's website hints at forthcoming support for Nintendo's portable machine, as well as the PSP and the iPod. If a fully functioning online IM program such as this were to hit the DS, would you be willing to buy it?

The only thing im concerned about Meetro is the various updates MSN, Yahoo and Aol have, so often, in fact, that if Meetro isnt updateable, it'll be obsolete by the time it comes out.
