Liranuna seems to be quite the
homebrewer homebrewster, going so far as to release a complete RPG game for the DS. Titled Tales of Dagur, the game revolves around Alex, a young lad summoned by the King of Dagur to help find the missing queen and reclaim the coveted holy stone, an artifiact which also went missing, that helps protect the kingdom.
The team comments that the game lacks a magic system and the battle system as a whole wasn't as fleshed out as they would have liked, mostly due to time constraints. Regardless, this is an impressive first step toward what we hope are many DS homebrew games to come.

I was also wondering if it was done on one of the rpgmakers. I only have the old one.
It's still a hell of allot nicer looking than most homebrews. I wish I had the time for that.

Turns out it was done on RPG Maker XP. Nothing wrong with that. The code and story is original though.
Now, since it was, this gives opportunity to other homebrew wannabes who want to have a crack at game design. ^^

Made in RPG Maker XP? This RPG was designed line by line by Liranuna from the ground up.
I had a chance to beta test this game update by update - feature by feature.. Don't try and degrade the work that was put into this game.
It was made during a surprisingly small period of time but don't let that fool you..

Guys ... really ..
I hold LiraNuna dear and she is a very good coder.
She only used the RTP (artwork collection) of a RPGMaker , which is free for anyone to use for anything.
All the maps , storyline , code and other stuff is handmade.
Sorry that she is not the mad artist that is able to build an entire world in sprites within 3 months time.

If you want to get serious about making games, you use your own material. Not only are the graphics from RPG Maker XP (all that material is copyrighted to Enterbrain, might I add, and NOT free for use by programmers, just people who actually bought the program or who intend to play games made with RPG Maker XP), but the intro music is "Orinoco Flow - Enya"
If that isn't blatant copyright abuse, I don't know what is. . .
