Reminder: Animal Crossing contest!

If you haven't entered our Animal Crossing giveaway yet, we can only assume that you either have the game already or simply can't bring yourself to alter the magnificent visage that is Shigeru Miyamoto. Clearly, Fidel Smith had no such qualms, as his awesome entry above so deftly illustrates. It's a simple, yet effective change that made me laugh. A lot. I've also received some extremely creative entries that take the above situation in truly unexpected directions. Choosing a winner certainly won't be easy.

Make it even harder for me. You have until 11:59PM on Wednesday, 5 April.

4. Dang. What a superb idea! My idea wasn't nearly as creative as that, though the hand integration could have been a bit better... it also appears that Shig now has two right hands. Oh well, good luck to all!

5. Stranger: Ello Miyamoto-san-mon, me likes de nintendo, and de animals, and de DS, and de Zelda. Shake me hand and me cap'll greet ye-mon like a pokemon from Zelda *burp*

Shigeru Miyamoto: ye-mon? Pokemon? What a loser...lets just nod and smile for the photos (pulls loser pose).

6. Shiggy isn't giving that guy a loser sign. It's a photoshopped image. My guess is the above picture is an entry for the contest.

Check the read link to see the original picture.
