NoE Watch points out that one of the UK's largest retailers, Game, is now listing a new version of Nintendogs on their website. Nintendogs: Dalmation & Friends is now up for pre-order and presumably has that elusive spotted puppy (favored by Mr. Miyamoto) unlocked right from the start. With Nintendogs being a massive success in Europe and selling over 2 million copies, it makes sense that Nintendo would aim to grab some more cash from the people that simply can't get enough of obscenely cute polygonal puppies. This does make me wonder--how many of you are still tending to their virtual puppies? I left mine to rot in his cartridge kennel a long time ago.
[Thanks Max!]

1. I know what you mean about letting them rot. I've checked my faves into the Dog Hotel and just have the one I like least at home. That way, any resentment my neglience creates doesn't set me back too much.
I still try to feed her at least once a day. Walks occur less often. And obedience training has been abandoned entirely.
Still, it's a great game to use to show my non-gamer friends. Their reaction is almost universally squeals or coos. Electroplankton and now Brain Age will help me woo the haters in to validate my precious. =^.^=
p.s. Scroll down to the Oct. 25, 2005 posting in this blog. Cracks me up every time:
