Over at DS-X2, they unleashed the boxart and included a list of possible pets in what is to be released as Nintendogs: Dalmation and Friends from Nintendo of Europe. The boxart, which you won't notice over to your right, shows every fireman's best friend staring off in the distance, wishing you would take him/her for a walk and show him/her some attention. What is wrong with you? Why don't you pet him/her? Are you some kind of monster?!
The roster of possible pups in the game reads:
- Dalmation
- Boxer
- German Shephard
- Golden Retriever
- Yorkshire Terrier
- Beagle

Screw this, give me something more interesting to control. Like a dragon. Nintendragons. With chainsaw hands.

I just got the Dalmation Hat a few days ago, actually. It seems the other secret breed, the Jack Russell Terrier, is not one of the starter dogs in this new version. Anyway, I live in the US, so this doesn't apply to me, but apparently, the Europeans are kureizi for Nintendogs!

First of all it's Dalmatian, not Dalmation. Yeah. :)
Surprisingly, the cover dog isn't a pristine example of evenly-dispersed Dalmatian spots, but I guess people will buy it anyway.
As for a monster-nurturing game, I can certainly forsee a Pokemon/Digimon/Neopets equivalent being phenomenally popular. Especially if it had a (simplified?) battle and/or RPG mode built in. Not that Pokemon Channel wasn't moderately successful, but there just wasn't much to do after a short time.

It looks pretty damn fake, and there are already pleanty of annoying killing games out there erick. its nice to have a puppy game for a change.
Blah, i don't know if its real but if it is its a disapointment to nintendogs fans because it features no new breeds. so whats the point? we want new breeds please.

Uhhh so basically: we're paying £30 more for a game that we already have but with an unlockable dog that we could get if we got off our arses anyway? Shame on you Nintendo! I'd excpect this from Sony, but scamming helpless single women with this! You should be ashamed. now go to you room :P

Yh. Why are you paying £30 more for a single new breed of dog? why, it may be hard to get in the other games but so what? If peeps bovard to try then maybe they would get it! Its a rip off. They should at LEAST put in a whole new selection of items and new houses and so forth...
On the subject of houses and items, is there actually any new items and houses on the dalmatian version and if so could someone pls post back as soon as poss?
