Animal Crossing bundle drops price

If you've yet to acquire a DS and/or the wildly-addictive Animal Crossing: Wild World, we imagine a daily conversation with yourself, that could last seconds to hours, we honestly don't know, we're not you, would go a bit like this:

"You know what self?"

"What's that brain?"

"I was just wondering why you haven't bought a DS and/or Animal Crossing: Wild World yet. The console really is the tops and I've heard nothing but great things about the game. I imagine we'd both have fun playing it, what with you wielding the stylus to do things a body enjoys doing such as fishing and me making clothes and such, doing the things a mind enjoys doing."

"Yes, but all my money is going towards Momma's insulin..."

"Look, she's old, she doesn't need to live anyway, why if she were conscious I'm sure she'd ask for death. Just do it, go turn on your PC and order the Nintendo DS Animal Crossing Bundle, it's only $129.99!"

"But what about my dad, I'm sure he'd be upset..."

"Relax...he can make his own character in the game."

"Oh, OK then!"

In other words, the price for the Nintendo DS Animal Crossing Bundle has dropped twenty bucks and has become that much more attainable.

1. OR just wait 'til they release a DS Lite and pick a DSL + AC for a few bucks more, and have an ultimately superior set up.

2. Interesting prediction Battousai, but you seriously think they would bundle a game they already bundled once, a game that most people already own? That's just bad buisness. Nintendo seems a lot about nostalgia these days, so why not stick Tetris DS in there? Hearken back to the good times of the Game Boy, where everyone got Tetris. That'd have my cash in a second. Of course you can't expect people not to own that little piece of Jesus already, so it's probably going to be NSMB. Nothing else new until Phantom Hourglass.

And Nintendo, if you even think about holding the DS Lite off until PH comes out.....

3. Sorry to post off topic, but Mr. Hinkle this "trying to be funny" thing you're doing with recent posts (this one and the Phantom Hourglass one recently) isn't working. I realize just posting bland news items can get boring, but if the post is more about trying to be funny than it is the actual news that's probably pushing it.

This isn't We heart David Hinkle dot com.

5. Grrr...stupid HTML.

I was just going to say that I heart David Hinkle.

6. I less-than-three him as well.

Try putting yourself in his shoes Day Job (which I imagine smell like fresh peaches). If he was trying to report on a price change on a DS bundle pack, he could do it in two sentences (probably one too, he's that good!), but it would be more along the lines of spam than something that's actually worth reading. He's just trying to make the content on this site (which is the best, BTW) varied and fun. Surely you can't hate him for that?

7. Ummm....if you click the "read" link though, the price on the EBGames website still says $149.99. What company is offering this lower price bundle? My lil sister wants one for her birthday, if someone's selling it for cheaper I'd buy it there.
