[Update: A commentor, and employee of Circuit City in IL, by the name of Hughes has said that his store is putting these sale items out July 3rd. I'll definately be getting Advance Wars. I could've used some Phoenix Wright or Trauma Center on that list though, as I've yet to pick those up. Think I could sell my copy of Asphalt for $3 if I stood around the DS section for a while?

You're way too late. These prices went into effect earlier this week at most Circuit City's. There have been reports that a few CC's have pulled the stock to hold for the sale this weekend, but even those that have didn't have much left. The deal got posted to SlickDeals/FatWallet which means you can kiss the deals goodbye thanks to the eBay hoarders.
I managed to get Pac Pix and Trace Memory at my local CC. I also had friends in other states that are sending me Metroid Prime: Pinball and Pac n' Roll that they found at their CC's, but most reports are that the good stuff was either not in stock at all at the beginning of the sale, or is gone by now.
Good luck to everyone though.

i haven't checked my CC yet. There are also a lot of GBA games for the same price. I saw the list of those, and a lot of those I haven't seen on store shelves in quite awhile, so I doubt they will be there anyways, heh.
I'm gonna try and get Metroid Pinball as well. Maybe it will still come with the rumble pack!

You guys are a week too late. Most CCs have been cleaned out. Blockbuster/GameRush just started a clearance sale yesterday, so you may still be able to find some good stuff there.

Stopped by one of my local CC's last night and while they were only just starting to sticker their games, there wasnt really much there worth anything for DS. Tiger, Madden 05, and Pac Pix were pretty much the only DS titles there at all. Even the GBA selection sucked, with a hundred copies of scooby doo and bratz :P I'm going to try hitting up another one near me tonight and hope for better selection. Oh, and while I could look through the cart with all of those games, the stock girl stickering everything told me they were stickering the PS2 games tonight so they're still in "ramp up" mode for the sale. Again, assuming they have anything you even want.

Apparently the Joystiq staff loves "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". I've seen that "Bueller?" qoute so many times here.
Anyway, I've been wanting to get NFS:Underground 2, Asphalt GT, and maybe Ultimate Spiderman.
I don't really care for PinBall, especially when they put such a good Nintendo icon on it. I think that it puts the Metroid series into a ditch. I mean really. They decide that just cuz Samus can turn into a ball, she should have a pinball game?
C'mon Nintendo!

There's not CCs in Canada but I hope the sale's going on at our The Sources (aka: Canada's Radioshack rebranded).
I'd pick up Golden Sun 2 ($6), Final Fantasy I&II ($9) and probably Jet Grind Radio ($2).

What happened is the cc staff put the prices into the system prior to the sale. A number of stores have since corrected it. Yet another example of a store's employees not bothering to read the corporate memos.
Metroid Prime pinball actually makes sense plus there are parts of the game where you aren't a ball you know?
As for Lunar Dragon Song it takes a while to get used to namely you don't have to use the stylus also how to get money is not by selling items but by doing the quests. Also you have the cards to use. You have to balance getting xp and items modes. But once you get used to it you can get up to level 50 with enough money to rebuy everything you have several times over.
Also people tend to forget that the battles in lunar aren't slow. They are far faster then a lot of final fantasy battles and the money situtation is a lot better as well.
You have to recall that special for two characters means they can attack multiple foes and after that one move just but the battle on auto and press the right trigger. Battle over fast.
Truly the bitching over this game is over stuff that is dozens of over fantasy RPGS who make these little gripes a hundred times worse.
Once you learn the eccentries of the game such as how to use the dash ability and magic user spells to heal as well as that you can save prior to battles with nasty critters who can break your equipment only occurs in a few places in the game the game goes a lot faster then any final fantasy dreck.

#8 -- I used to feel the same way about Metroid Prime Pinball before it was released. I mean, HOW could Nintendo sully the franchise by reducing Samus to pinball duty?? I picked up a copy of the game during the week of its release last fall, moreso for the Rumble Pak than for the game itself (I tend NOT to like electronic pinball sims). I fell instantly in love with the game -- ball "mechanics" are *very* realistic and the various game boards are quite faithful in recreating the look/feel of environments and certain characters from the Metroid Prime 'verse. I play it a couple times a week on average, and have been playing it even more since my sons each upgraded their original DS's with DS Lites this past week. MPP looks even MORE gorgeous on those upgraded DS Lite screens, as do most of the games you probably already have. MPP at $8.96 would be a steal, especially with the Rumble Pak -- HIGHLY recommended, if you can find it at your local CC...

Actually... the original news came from cheapassgamer.com not slickwhatever..
and DO NOT get Lunar Dragon Song.. even if its 9 dollars...! It is a horrible game with weird looking sprites and extremely limited gameplay... you cant even select which monster to attack!
also.. if you do decide to get it and hate it like I do.. Do what I did and take it to EBGames to trade it in for $9 (don't even need the box and manual). I traded it in and used a coupon to get viewtiful joe.

As somebody who has already gotten everything I've wanted from this deal I would make sure people go ASAP to double check if the deal has already started. Resellers will buy up these games so if people who actually want to play them I would advice to double check your local CC's just in case.
