Heres a question...Has anyone modded their lites? I wanted to attempt a sub-clearcoat BRUTE! wheatpasting (www.bruteprop.com), but noticed the clearcoat is a fused layer...

Makes me wish I had a platinum DS instead of the red one.

I also want to know if anyone has tried to mod the lite. I have seen pretty much all the regular DS mods... the one i want to try is to take an original gameboy and take out the inards... then shave the case down so it is the same thickness of the lite and just put that over the lite. that fussed clear coat is very annoying! don't get me wrong it looks fantastic but there is really no way to get it off without destroying it.

That looks sweet. Too bad that version of DS was too fat.

I have resprayed my polar white ds lite to another color, i will post pics of it in the upcoming days =) ... btw i'm not a fanboy and the paintwork does not reflect towards a nintendo themed mod, if you would call it a mod =)

#6: 's all good... what kinda spray did you use? I'd imagine Krylon Fusion? Also, how is the final product (sticky, uniform paint coverage, etc)? Any tips?
btw, if I end up successfully modding my DS as planned, I will post full instructions and pics somewhere public. :)
