Man runs MSN app on his DS

Here we see a fine young gentleman running Beup, an MSN Messenger program, on his DS. According to Rob, the keyboard works about 99% of the time and the program has tabs at the bottom for chatting with multiple users and managing your buddy list. The program sometimes crashes at random, but it's clearly a small price to pay for such a nifty program.

Why isn't Nintendo putting out similar software? I'd love to see the DS get more PDA-like software, besides Opera.

Awesome, but did he remove the system OS or something? There wasn't any health warning or bootup menu.

Still, once Opera comes out I'm sure people will find a way to get people to talk on MSN via a special webpage.

As long as Opera DS allows Javascript, you can access the most messanger programs with E Buddy.

he used flashme, which allows "homebrew" applications and roms to be run on the ds. He probably put the file on a flashcart such as m3 adapter.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but does anybody know how much the Opera browser is going to cost, since i don't know how to/don't want to run homebrew on my DS. Thanks.

Since the European lineup was just released, I expect the North American dates to be unveiled soon, and I'm pretty sure Opera DS will be among the titles listed.

So, is there some reason that no one has made an AIM homebrew app?
I've heard of this, and I think DSLinux might have a similar thing,
but I haven't seen anything that supports AIM. I get that MSN is a
worldwide thing, but AIM is certainly not to be forgotten.

I can't wait until the english version of the G6 Lite comes out. The only thing I can see topping that would be a DS game card with a Micro SD card in it. Best flash card ever.
