While over in Japan, the obsession with Nintendo's dual-screened platform is well documented, the latest news affecting DS fans is focused on Europe. Apparently Europeans are going to feel a pinch as shortages of plastic cases means that DS games will be sold in the cardboard cases GBA games are sold in.These cases will come complete with apology from Nintendo and an invitation to order a plastic replacement case when stock is replenished in December. This news comes from Nintendo of Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg), and these shortages are said to not affect other territories such as Japan and North America, as materials used in case manufacturing in those territories differ.

Wow! Who knew that there could be shortages on materials for plastic casings? Oh, well, guess these things happen. But still, Nintendo is so nice to offer to give them plastic cases as they become available. So, no trouble.

Thanks for checking the tipbox, I sent this about a week ago.
Anyways, I'm all for Cardboard boxes. Though the plastic ones are super cool, we could do without plastic for DS games (At least).
Cardboard is more enviromental-friendly.

Who cares?
I welcome the cardboard versions - for those of us that realise that packaging DOESN'T MATTER, its a good thing.

For those of us that ACTUALLY realize that packaging doesn't matter, it's not good or bad. Because it doesn't matter.
