A trailer for It's a Wonderful World has hit the net, allowing us to see some of the gameplay in the flesh. All it has done is strengthened our desire to get our hands on a localized copy of the game. Based on the video, which is available past the jump, would you say the same?

This game looks pretty bad really, I wasn't too happy with what Square did with it's rather bulky, slow and glitchy GBA Kingdom Hearts game, and what with this game being made by the same people... (Note that it's gone to an extent to actually almost copy-cat the KH cast. Neku = Sora, Shiki = Kairi, I could point out more look-alikes.)
Chain of Memories suffered from over-welming the player sometimes, by making them dodge attacks while either reloading decks of cards, finding useful cards maybe to heal. The many times I've been killed because I'm looking for that one heal card and dodge rolling all over the shop, it's not even funny.
Not to mention how easy it is to actually miss an enemy. The game had a sort of 3D movement but take a step up or down from the enemy and whoosh, you've missed with your attack. By which time the enemy has moved into possition and clobbered you. Not fun at all.
Let's also note that the art style of this game reminds me ever so much of another poor GBA title which I wish never exsisted, Sonic Battle. And from the looks of how text is handled (speech between characters), I'd say that the game did take a leap out of SEGA's book on this one. Let's hope the game's gameplay is much, much different from that sorry piece of coding.
I'll give this game some credit, it at least looks visually impressive and given that the music played on the trailer is the music going into the game (I mean, real music, not DS chip synth) I think the game might be worth it just for the nice music and wonderful visuals. The story thus-far seems bland, unimaginative and overall very weak, but if someone told me the story to Kingdom Hearts before I played it, I would have most likely laughed at that too.
So I'm left uncertain, but sure of one thing, this game isn't impressing me right now and leaves me feeling that this game is going to be another Dirge of Cerberus, Square diving head-first into a genre it has no idea how to conduct properly, sure the RPG element they have down to a fine art, but this music milarky doesn't seem a normal thing for Square. I'll be interesting to see if they do pull it off though.
