At least we have
one instance where Europeans aren't getting the shaft, having to wait long periods of time for games already released in the US. It would seem that Tingle's upcoming RPG romp is going to be released in Europe sometime in 2007, according to a report from Cubed³. Personally, even not living in Europe ourselves, we're hoping this turns out to be true as it would mean the chances of a US release are greater.

Maybe not. In general, US gamers have made it quite clear that they do not like Tingle.
Probably due to 98% of the population being homophobic.
Nintendo may have picked up on this and decided that a Tingle RPG would not be apreciated there.

Exactly, Henry
Nintendo's trying to escape the "gay kiddie" image that plagued the GameCube and effectively crushed any efforts to run "serious" games on that console
Tingle RPG would effectively negate that, unless they released it quietly

Kurukuru Kururin
Doshin the Giant
Parodius
Giftpia
All games that went from Japan to Europe, but not the USA.
All those games have a high degree of "cuteness".
Thus, I can only guess Europe is less harsh on these types of games.
Parodius really needs to make it to NA...

Hey man, it's not just about homophobia. Yes, he's effeminate, but there are plenty of other reasons to dislike Tingle... like the way he artificially lengthened Zelda: Wind Waker by making you pay a king's ransom in rupees to get all the maps to the Triforce pieces.
If there were two things I'd change about Wind Waker, it would be getting rid of that stupid stealth action mission in the beginning, and that greedy goon Tingle near the end. He made the game many hours longer than it needed to be, turning what one of the best Zelda games into a boring and unnecessary chore.
Perhaps the most irritating flaw in the later Zelda games was the inclusion of obnoxious sidekicks like Tingle, Navi, the butthole hat from The Minish Cap, and now Midna from the latest Zelda adventure. They're all about as endearing as Scrappy-Doo, but Tingle is undoubtedly the worst of the lot... and NOT just because he's fruity.
