I have the dark gray (almost black) DS phat and the Black DS Lite. I prefer black for my electronics, although I would spring for a golden Zelda edition DS if there was one.

This might seem a little too much for some folks, but ever since getting my zune, I'd like to have a Brown DS with a Translucent Green over it. I currently have a Black DS that I cherish, but Brown and Translucent Green is just so.... Anti norm. I love it. it stands out and defines itself (not that the DS could define itself even more than being the top selling portable on the market).

Maybe a shell will come out for it in those colors.

I have a classic blue DS Phat. If there was a color I would like to see, it would be Orange. Dunno why. I am a big Mac user though too so the classic white DS lite would fit all of my gear.

I have a snow white and my brothe onyx. Nintendo should offer u a customized one in this manner. Go to the website and order a ds. Then you would get the chance to customize it (like an ipod) with designs and maybe even different colors for like 50 bucks more, I would do that.

I'm using an enamel navy blue ds lite. I love the color, but I hate the fact that companies like using smudge attracting silky smooth plastic nowadays. If I had to buy another DS Lite, I'd get the Ice Blue color.

In my past, I had a silver Phat (it broke), a cobalt phat (sold it to get my lite), and a white lite. I'd want a black lite, but it ain't worth the money :P

I have the teal Nintendogs edition DS phat then got a white lite when Target broke street date a week early. I REALLY want the Ice Blue one, but wasn't willing to pay import costs.

What? Nobody will admit to having one in white? I do and I still love it. White!!
I wold love a transparent one. If they sold one which was clear I would but it in a second. I have no desire to rip mine apart and use a cheesy aftermarket case on mine. White will do just fine. My kid wants a pink one.

In the end it's a pretty superficial thing... If/When I get a Lite, I'm not sure what colour i'll go for... White doesn't really appeal too much, as I've never bought into the iWank style very much.

The fingerprints on a black one would annoy me, and other colours seem a bit gaudy... Might look into the custom colours linked above!

I take it people can recommend then? As good quality as the original?

I've still got my silver DS phat from launch day. I've been thinking about getting a DS lite because mine's gotten a little banged up and I really like the ice blue one from Japan. Maybe I'll import the Final Fantasy sky pirate one...

I have a white ds lite cause thats all there was available here when i bought it... though i bought my girlfriend an import Ice Blue DS Lite.. it sure is pretty.. it sure did cost a pretty penny too... I hope that color doesnt come to the US too soon...

Currently rockin' an ice blue DS Lite. The only one I'd swap it for is the black DS Lite special edition with Parukia and Diaruga on it in silver and gold.

White DS lite, I love it because it matches my iPod and Ceramic White PSP. =) Before I had the black SP but that's because it did not come in white. I think that a matte black DS would be sweet.
