Codemasters fixes Bubble Bobble, hands out swag

While the idea of waiting an extra three to four months just to play a broken game may seem ridiculous, Codemasters is trying to make it worth your while. It's not news that they're replacing the busted Bubble Bobble Revolution cartridges, but we were surprised to learn that they're hooking gamers up with a freebie upon delivery of new, working games! Gamers who returned their faulty cartridges are receiving not only fixed versions, but an apology ... and a bonus of Rainbow Islands Revolution. While that doesn't really make up for lost time -- Bubble Bobble Revolution released last October -- it is a pretty slick way for Codemasters to try to worm their way back into our good graces.

We didn't see any mention of this on the official Codemasters website, but you can reach their customer service department via e-mail: custservice @ codemasters.com. Any of you guys waiting for a replacement?

2. It's two, two, TWO crappy games for the price of one!

I think I'll stick with Bust-A-Move DS. I think you'll all agree that it's the best Bubble Bobble-themed game on the system!

4. So is there a way I can tell the difference between the old faulty one and the new one? I've been dying to pick up this game but have hesitated until now. Is it similar to the old classic with MK Gold on the Dreamcast that had a different colour star or are the boxes and cartridge art identical? Maybe the cartridge number would help...

5. How do I find the information on where to send my game into? I've been on the website several times trying to find information with no luck. No one has responded to my emails from customer service either... help?
