Pocket Gamer issued some DS demands recently, with their list of titles that should already be on the handheld, but aren't. While they offered up some interesting candidates -- a good place to start the discussion -- we'd love to see you guys start throwing out ideas on all the games that could be. Sure, a GoldenEye or Mario Paint DS could be really excellent, but there are a lot of games out there. What do you think might benefit from the touchscreen, the WiFi, or both? Last time we discussed the what-ifs, we talked only about franchises ... but this time, anything's game.

Zuma
Bejeweled 2
Incadia
Bricks of Egypt
Luxor
Magic Match
PopCap kind of stuff I gues you'd call it.
Those kinds of games would be awesome brought together in a Clubhouse Games type of way.

Online PictoChat. Seriously, theres nothing that you can do locally on Pictochat that couldn't just as easily be accomplished with a piece of paper, since you've got to be in the room with the person already, and most likely in talking distance. You can't use it on a plane, and you really can't use it in real life without being face to face with the person and saying "Hey, let's PictoChat." But bringing all that online makes the chatting actually useful, and advantageous over most alternatives.

well.. I want katamari on the DS
and Halo (this is ANYTHING right?)
and a true MMORPG (although with the current friendcode thing not sure how effective that could be but could you imagine a smaller portable version of something like WoW? I would never put the DS down..ever)

Oh, and I totally agree with Okami, Civilization and even the Myst series... there's too many good games that would do really well with the DS Wifi and Touch abilities

How about Vagrant Story, Einhander and RayStorm? DS can probably do 3D as well as PS1...

A good, WoW quality DS MMO would steal my life, but I think it's highly unlikely, because for example what do you do when the player moves out of range of a signal? Or if they close the lid? MMOs on a system that is intended to be portable are not a good idea, but I guess if someone was going to play an MMO they would know not to be moving around. DotA Allstars (http://dota-allstars.com) an awesome Warcraft III map, would also be an instant buy for me, as long as it was fully updatable like the real thing, which shouldn't be too hard. Friendcode system doesn't mean it has to be used, only optional for say adding people to your guild or something. Perhaps a really good version of Burnout, which I've been wanting to try but I heard the DS version sucks. A compilation of all pre-GC zelda games would pwn quite hard, too, but we're still waiting on more PH news and anyway, I don't think it would be that great. Most useful perhaps would be a word processor that could send documents to a computer via the wifi and allow for taking notes in class (good excuse for having it out in class anyway,) and general to-do list type stuff.

It wont happen, but I'd still love to see a smash brothers game on DS.
Oh, and a collection of Office tools would be nice - a cart with a word processor, spreadsheet, VoIP, paint, etc tools that was platform independant and easy to transfer to pc. with some decent storage space on the cart (or a GBA cart)
And a decent network sniffing tool... maybe with a more powerful antenna built in.
Other than that, i agree with most of the suggestions so far... :)
