We don't know how the game will be changed, other than the addition of, as Metanet puts it, "pretty cool new features and graphics." Really, we hope it isn't changed much at all-- especially the level-editing feature. Atari, we've never asked you for anything before-- let us make and trade N+ levels online.
You can download the Flash version of N here. Try it out and see how you'd feel about a DS version!

I just tried this out it's ok but definitely not as great as Gish. Gish is the ALL time best physics game by far. I wish Gish was headed for nintendo DS too. Just google gish.

I've been playing N for a few years and was a little upset when there was a post on Joystiq about it coming out for psp and said nothing about the DS. Now I'm happy again.

@ Crazylink
Same. Love this game. Can't wait to see how they implement it on the DS.

Ahh, good old N!
Still, the eternal question of "enough of a game to buy" remains - would you buy it as a full price DS game? What about as half price?

I, too, saw the PSP news and felt momentarily cheated. If it's a faithful (or better) translation, I'll definitely buy it. In a heartbeat.

Oh hell yes!
I was sorta hoping it could be a VC download or something similar for the Wii, but I'd say this works even better, since it'll be transportable too.
But how will the touchscreen work? I hope it's used for level editing and they don't try to do that dual screen thing where the level sprawls across both screens.
Damn, I'm so far behind on buying games for my DS... I need to do a major splurge... but funds are tight... *sighs * oh well. Guess that's how it goes...
