DS Fanboy presents: Game Night 6/28/07

Oh, it's like some holiday up in here. It's the only way to explain just how good we feel right now. We're looking forward to gaming with you all tonight, so head past the break and get all of the deets.

Well, looks like Tetris DS wins again. No worries on our end, as we love to drop those pieces of differing shape and/or size. If you aren't a fan of Tetris DS or don't own it, no worries! Of course, just because it was voted doesn't mean you have to play it. There'll be plenty of folk there without that game, looking to play other Wi-Fi compatible games. The only way to find out what people are playing is to show up.

Before getting in on the action, however, you're going to want to download an IRC client (we use mIRC). As usual, we'll be meeting up in a chat room set up by reader ConstyXIV. The server is irc.freenode.net and the room we'll be in is #dsfanboy. Remember to be in the chat at 7PM EST (to find out what time that is for you, check this out) to take part in the carnage! Come early to get friend codes if you haven't been with us in past weeks, and check this topic for those which get added in the comments.

1. Game Night!

Perhaps I'll actually remember to attend this time...I haven't remembered / been able to attend since it was switched to Thursdays @7pm many months ago...

2. woo, time for some hot Ludo action! I hope Alisha will be htere! XD

anyway, I don't know if consty has talked to you about this or not, but I think it would be a good idea for #dsfanboy to be something that is more than just a gathering for game night. It just seems like a waste, you know? I could see it as a general discussion channel where people can come in anytime and discuss anything DS related and hey even play a wi-fi game now and then. Of course, consty would need to appoint more ops to watch the channel on a regular basis, but I think it would be worth it. So what do you think? :)
