We didn't see much in the keynote, but plenty of delicious DS content appeared over the course of E3: Brain Age 2, Flash Focus, Professor Layton, Advance Wars 2, Contra 4-- the list goes on and on. It all looks nice! But us being gamers, and this being the Internet, we aren't comfortable with anything unless it's categorized according to arbitrary value judgments.

Never really played a Contra game (runs to the top of a hill), but with the hype you blogs are giving it, it's enough to convince me to (as Destructoid says) Trade, rent, or steal it. And I don't believe in trading in, or renting, so it's either a steal or I'm buying it.

The game I'm looking forward to the most is probably either Zelda or Advance Wars 2. If A.W.2 has online turn-based battles, then that will definitely be the winner. If it doesn't, then Zelda will probably win. I'm getting kind of excited about Contra 4, but since I never played the originals I'll have to see what it's like. But, I absolutely loved A.W. Dual Strike. It was one of the only things I played on my DS for about 6 months. So hopefully, if A.W. 2 has multiplayer, I'll play that game for a very very long time. As long as they keep the Stealth Fighters. I frickin' loved those!!!!!!!

I know this is a DS forum but G4 network gave Super Mario Galaxy the title of #1 game out of all the systems at E3!! At least it's a score for Nintendo.

For the past 15 days I've played nothing but Advance Wars DS and listened to nothing but Depeche Mode. I don't know why they work together so well, but they do. I'm super pumped for AWDS2 and Contra 4.

I'm definitely excited for Fushigi no Dungeon: Furai no Shiren DS.
...oh wait, there's still no plans to localize that here, even though it's been out in Japan forever, it's fun as hell, and it beats the crap out of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. D:
The Super Famicom version was the ultimate pick-up-and-play dungeon crawl, very fun and competitive when two people are attacking the high score list.

Only one playable game on the show floor was an RPG with Wi-fi multiplayer and had stylus controls.
Luminous Arc crushes all. (Even Advance Wars 2.)
Contra 4 is up there, too, but You can't beat Luminous. It's just got too much going for it. Strat-RPG FTW!

You know what I was most excited about? Golden Sun DS, "The Solar Soothsayer." I had my hopes dashed for one a while ago when the Golden Sun "Path of Alex" kinda got phased out, and Cemelot did some other stuff...
I'm just happy to hear that my clear file on GS:TLA might not be sitting around in vain!
