Unlike Datel's Action Replay Max Duo, this game-save manager from Gametech doesn't require any GBA-slot jury-rigging or an unsightly device that sticks out of your handheld like an air conditioner. All you have to do is pop your DS cart into Gametech's discreet USB dongle, hook it onto a PC with the installed software, and you're good to go.This $30 device can be really useful for titles like Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja or SimCity DS, both of which having only one save slot. You can also keep a back-up of your progress in case you accidentally lose the game or decide to trade it in later.

Wow, that actually looks pretty nice, I'm sure all the Pokémon and Animal Crossing hackers will love this.
The best part is, it's not a datel product! That means no dodgy hardware or malfunctioning software! (Which has been the case for practically every product I've ever bought from them.)

I'm pretty sure that "discrete" isn't really the word you were looking for.

True Ken, but this device transfers saves from your original DS cart to your computer, something the R4 does not do. (I own an R4, and i cant do that)
I wouldnt mind getting it. So i can transfer my Diamond save to my computer and then put it on the R4.
No need for multiple carts anymore! :3

Any slot-2 flashcart (including ones under $30) can back up saves, and you can put them on your PC. And Konosuke, I'm moderatly sure there is an app for the R4 that can do that.

as far as i know, the R4 can not do get your original saves from your original carts. I have an r4 and i'm sure of it.
that being said, i would love to get this gadget to get my old game saves, instead of starting all over again on the r4.
