not to be pedantic, but half of 119 million would be around 60 million, not 50 :)

I love my DS, but I do think that there is going to be a lack of first party titles after DK jungle lcimber, Zelda, and Chibi robo.

50 million in three years is staggering. All places outside of Japan still need to step it up, though, because as long as we're lagging behind them in sales we're never going to get everything we want localized.
@3: Then why not try any of the promising third-party releases coming in the next few months? Just off the top of my head, we have Phoenix Wright 3, Bleach: Blade of Fate, Professor Layton, Lifesigns, Duck Amuck, Dementium: The Ward and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker coming before year's end, and I know there are more.

It'll get there, but not without another redesign.

Congrats to the DS!
50 million in under three years...that is a staggering amount. I wonder if Wii can beat that record....
Sales are only going to go up even more once Phantom Hourglass comes out in the US and DQIX in Japan.
Here's to 50+ million more!
