It's been a long, languorous look at Zelda (and we're not quite done yet!), but for the release of Phantom Hourglass, it was worth it. But for many of us, it's time to turn our gazes to the next sunny spot on the horizon. What's the next game you're waiting for? Are you marking your calendar? It's almost time for the holidays, after all, and you know what that means: release frenzy. Time to start saving those pennies, DS owners ... it may be a rough couple of months.

Now that I have PH, the DS is taking a back seat to its big brother while I save up for Galaxy and Brawl.

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, FFIV... I already have Gyakuten Saiban 3 (finished it, best game in the series so far), and I'm playing through PH. The Konami Olympics thing looks like it can be fun too. But mostly, I guess, it'd be DQIV, FFIV and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword.

I've got the important things, er, thing earmarked (Phoenix Wright). Other than that, it's all old games for me... GBA and GC games are cheap now.

The new Ace Attorney, Mario Party DS, Dementium: The Ward, and Ninja Gaiden. Those are the top, but there are more that I'm excited to play.

I'm really sad that no one has said the FFIV remake. *sniffs*
But...to answer the original question, I'm anxiously awaiting the release of Cooking Mama 2 in November, and the release of FFIV in Quarter 1 of '08.
However, there are quite a few games that I've been waiting for that have gotten put on a back burner because of other titles like Phantom Hourglass. (Lack of money SUCKS!)

I'm with Nemuaff - I didn't learn my lesson from the first Touch Detective. Of course, a little further down the line is Trials and Tribulations :)

If I were here 6 hours ago I would have. So yes, FFIV. But, not so I can play the game again; so I can play it for the first time.

I also imported Trials and Tribulations and played through it (I also preordered the US copy to support the game and because the Phoenix plush doll looks sweet). The game is fantastic! It tells a really great story.
I'm working through Phantom Hourglass right now. It is a masterpiece. I can't believe how long and fulfilling it is.
Unfortunately there isn't much I'm anticipating on the DS in the future. The Wii will get all the attention this Fall/Winter. However, I am interested in Duck Amuck, Flash Focus, Prism, Life Signs, Call of Duty, Ontamarara.
Actually I lied. I'm eagerly anticipating Professor Layton.

Duck Amuck comes out this week. I'm really looking forward to that.
Much moreso than the awful Acme Arsenal game on consoles...

Oh yes, Duck Amuck looks fantastic, and not just because it looks like a good game but, more importantly, because it looks like a brilliant cultural gem.
Contra looks fun, but I could never have passed the first one, so I'm not sure about this one. Geometry Wars could be fun, and N+ is definitely going to be worth a look.
