DS Fanswag: Brain builder blowout

Are you feeling mentally down? Does calculating the cost of your groceries at your local supermarket taking you longer than usual? Well, we might just have something that can help you get mentally fit again. Whether you're 88 or 18 (sorry, if you're under 18 years of age or live outside the United States, you are not eligible), everyone can always use some extra mental exercises to help them get fit again.

What will you win? Well, that's simple. One grand prize winner will receive a copy of Brain Age 2 (valued at $20), Picross DS (valued at $20) and Brain Buster Puzzle Pak (valued at $20). With all those puzzle titles, you should be as mentally fit as a young Albert Einstein.

So, do your brain a favor and make a comment below. All we're asking is that you tell us the last time you were feeling mentally sluggish. Hey, we're all friends here, no need to feel embarrassed when you had some difficulty adding and subtracting with The Count.

Before you do that, though, make sure that you read the official rules before entering. The contest will be open from Wednesday October 10th, 2007 9:45am EST until Sunday October 14th, 2007 11:59PM EST.

Mentally sluggish? That would be today, amigos. I was up until 4am last night reading (not on purpose!) and so I'm pretty much useless here at work for the next couple hours.

I'm in my Computer Science class right now, and I feel pretty darn sluggish. I haven't had a productive thought for pretty much the whole day. :P I really wish I had my DS right now to erm-- "develop Java" on. :)

I was feeling sluggish yesterday because I only got 5 hours of sleep. I had to drive my girlfriend home and she lives a state away so I had that yellow vitamin water drink and a caffeine pill. I got her home and got home alright but when I got home I couldn't sleep 'cause of all the caffeine. So I just played guitar and surfed the net until 3am when I finally passed out.

Just a few minutes ago. It was the whole groggy wake-up and take-into-account-where-the-heck-am-I mental grogginess though.

I tried the demo of BA2; that made me feel challenged. Seriously, keeping track of wether you should win or lose at Rock / Paper / Scissors is hard, and forces you to create new things such as 'Rocksors' and 'Paprock'.

As with the other posters, just today! A friend forwarded on a silly "do you see the rotating figure circling clockwise or counterclockwise" image, where clockwise is supposed to mean that you're a right-brain person. Since I'm a computer programmer, it'd be nice to switch my left brain on!

Sluggish? Not so much now, but the last time the slugs got me was probably a few weeks ago, after putting in some massive overtime at work.

The last time I was mentally sluggish is when I ran for Miss Teen USA and said "I personally believe the U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some, uh...people out there in our nation don't have maps, and, uh, I believe that our education like such as South Africa and, uh, the Iraq everywhere like, such as and...I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., err, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children." Brain Age 2 could help me....but I doubt it.
