We're anxious to see how the Mario Party franchise will translate to the DS. While the nature of the titles can easily lend themselves to the handheld gaming scene, the whole multiplayer aspect of it might lose something there. Especially so as the state of Wi-Fi Connect compatibility is still up in the air. After hitting up our gallery below, be sure to head past the break for a scan.

Here's hoping it features online play, as I have not yet read that the feature was confirmed. And really, I will not be buying it if it lacks an obvious essentiality.

here's hoping they polish this ish. Those are some ugly graphics. and the mini games seem like touch screen over kill. Mario party 8 was fun with all the interesting ways you had to play games... i really would hate for more than 15% touch screen only games. Gosh mario is so ugly! These scans do look better than previous screens, though.

I think for the DS, the graphics are good. About on par with Mario Party 1/2/3. You can't expect them to be better. AND I hope there are ALOT of touch/duel screen/microphone and sideways mini games. To switch the franchise up for the DS.
