DS Fanswag: Pick up two units for your DS army!

The DS Fanboy giveaway craze continues with a brand-new shot at a couple of games, all for you. Free. The way games should be. We've got a two-pack for one lucky winner, featuring Heroes of Mana from Square Enix and Luminous Arc from Atlus, valued at $39.99 and $34.99 respectively.

If you have a driving need to move some units, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post that answers a very important question between now and Monday, October 22, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. You may enter once per day only, so please avoid spamming the comments with the same thing over and over. On Tuesday the 23rd, we'll select one lucky winner in a random drawing and ship off your free games. Does it get any better than that? We think not.

There are, of course, a few caveats. Winners must be both U.S. citizens and over the age of 18 (sorry, guys!). You can check out the full official rules here.

So, here's the question: witches or rabites? Feel free to explain at length.

Definetly witches, they have powers and can cast spells and stuff, and a lot of people choose to be one for halloween. Rabites on the other hand are annoying little things that eat your garden, so screw them.

Witches or rabites, eh?

This kind of question is like asking "Do you want to celebrate Halloween or Easter?" Both net you free candy, one occasionally with a gift or two, but who could pass up the opportunity to cosplay AND look normal?

Witches, please, in favor of all that is Halloween.

Are we talking about the types of witches on the Luminous Arc cover? Then definitely witches.

Well first let’s compare the two options. Rabites (or Rabi as they were originally called) are filled with ungodly amounts of cute, but to balance this they lack legs so movement is made by a bouncing hop. They come in a variety of colors and can be slightly menacing yet cute (yellow) to outright bastards (black). I'm not sure what they eat but I assume they are omnivores.

Now Witches come in a variety of forms but most tend to be humanoid in nature. They also vary in power similar to the Rabites as some are mainly tricksters and others can call upon dark forces to tear ones soul from the body. Feeding would be easy as most tend to eat the same food that most humanoids eat although their tastes could be unique (babies, souls, etc.).

But how about breeding? Witches would require a partner of some sort but Rabites look like they could be asexual and if so then you could be drowning in yellow, blue & god forbid black bouncing doorstops by years end.

Now let’s analyze the question itself. Are we contemplating which one we would prefer to live with on a daily basis? Witches tend to be a bit more useful with their two legs and hands for which to grasp items. Plus they seem pretty intelligent on the average. Whereas Rabites look cute and could be used in a variety of ways. Doorstops, pillows, & hats immediately to mind. Maybe we are considering one or the other as a pet? Well then Rabites would be the logical choice as having a pet witch would be immoral to say the least, plus if you were to take one as a pet you may end up as a frog or a rodent of some kind.

Really based on the facts(or lack thereof) I'd have to go with a Witches as they seem infinitely more useful. Although a Rabites comes in at a close second.

Wait. I'm kind of wise in the ways of science.. I thought if you weighed as much as a rabbite, you WERE a witch? How, then, is one to chose?
