The hardest game on the DS

We were just discussing difficult DS games the other day-- here comes one that will make Trauma Center look like Relaxing Center. Mainichi Shinbun Headlines is a nightmare in a DS cartridge.

Basically, it's a training game based on trying to read a Japanese newspaper. The main game involves trivia whose answers come from the 135-year-long archives of the Shimbun. We don't think you have to scour the entire thing; rather, you're presented with the appropriate issue, but still. Look at that newspaper page. Is that not daunting?

Sure, it's made for people who natively read Japanese, but we (want to) believe it would be hard for them too. Those little pages are undecipherable mishmashes of kanji.

I know about 60 kanji. Let's see... .something stone something up tall forest something. Yep. I still got it!

In a couple years, I will dominate this "game." Either that or pick up a real Japanese newspaper.

Definitely not undecipherable. ;)
I don't know how many kanji I know, but I guess I can read around 2500 or 3000 of them.
@Rubang B: I definitely recommend picking up a real Japanese newspaper. Much more fun to read kanji on paper than on a DS screen. ;P
