The DS has become a haven for adventure games, which makes us pretty happy. There are some adventure favorites that haven't found their way to our portables, however, and we're wondering which ones you miss the most. You already know that we love remakes, but what adventure game (and we're talking about pure adventure games here, not action-adventure hybrids and such) would you like to see continued on the DS? You know, with a new game? Obviously some things will never happen, but let us into your head for a few moments.By the way, we didn't put a monkey picture with this post to imply that you should be picking Monkey Island. We just wanted to show you what a monkey with a moustache looks like.

I am a long time fan of oldschool point & click adventures. So how about:
- Leisure Suit Larry (with a whole new endearing adventure on the DS)
- Space Quest (see Roger Wilco screw things up one more time on the DS this time)
- King's Quest (Oh Roberta... save us from an evergrowing deprevation of REAL fantasy adventures)
- The Journeyman Project
- Police Quest
- Phantasmagoria
Oh wait... now I've got a real idea!
Give "Loom" another go! An adventure based on spells you do with music, in combination with the mic of the DS! Wow!

Grimm Fandango... That would be awesome. And why not a sequel, too? :(

I'm with tlronin on the King's Quest idea. The touch screen would be perfect. I wouldn't even need a new game, just give me a faithfully ported "King's Quest Classics" (as many as you can cram in, though; no skimping) and you've got cash. I guess instead of entering commands (GET BROOCH) you could just tap the screen and a little menu would pop up. Fine by me.
I say! Now that's a distinguished-looking primate. He needs a tiny top hat, though.

I'm with tlronin - seeing Sierra's / Vivendi's old catalog on the DS would be pretty sweet.

Gabriel Knight from the first to the third plus the fourth that should have existed ! That'd be great to hear Tim Curry's voice on my DS !
They could also translate the "Detective Stories", "Otona DS Mysteries" and "Suspense Series" that exist only in Japan, they look much more mature and realistic than say, Ace Attorney, for example. I bet they'd sell pretty well.

I would like to see sequels to these three on the DS:
1)Grim Fandango
2)Full Throttle (Even though Tim Schafer doesn't seem to like making sequels.)
...and, see if any of you remember this one...
3)The Dig
