Capcom is releasing some
totally great stuff to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first
Rockman game (way back when it had
scores). We're happy not just because it's
rad, but because it focuses on the for-real Blue Bomber and not on one of the scores of
Mega Man-lites Capcom has spun off over the years.
Unfortunately, we can't tell if the limited-edition items -- including t-shirts, scarves (!) and phone straps -- will be made available online or only at the special
Rockman event held in Ikebukuro on the 18th. We would at least like a shot at ordering one of these jackets. We're
cold.

Hey Capcom! Less apparel-ly, more Mega Man Collection-y!
I wrote to them once, back when they were developing the 20th Anniversary Mega-Man Collection for GBA, begging them to finish it. This was around the time the GBA started sounding its death knell and stepping aside for the juggernaut that would become the DS. I got an email back thanking me for my Mega love and saying they had stopped working on the GBA version.
I really, really hope they at least make it for the DS now. No more spin-offs, no more clothes, Capcom. It's time for a collection (COLLECTION! Not 1 or 2, but as many as you can cram in!) of ports. We the masses are ready and wanting. *grabby hands*

Oh man, I NEED at least some of that stuff. Especially the sweatshirt there. I practically define myself by megaman.

Damn, why couldn't I have been working in Ikebukuro when something like this was happening? I was there for the Mario 20th Anniversary and having the Parco department store doing all the promotions at the store with tons of cool displays was pretty sweet.
