(Page 2)22. I pre-ordered the system from the now-departed Lik-Sang.
I found myself spending more time on handhelds than home systems anyway, thanks to the Game Boy Advance, and I was totally sold on the dual screen/touch screen features.
To date, I have gotten more use out of my three DS systems (my first DS broke, I upgraded to a DS Lite after getting crazy amounts of use from my replacement) than any other system I've owned.

24. Mario Kart DS forced me to buy the DS, but now, puzzle games keep the love between the system and me. Which other system have a so big library of puzzle games ?
Polarium, Honeycomb Beat, Trioncube, Tetris DS, Zoo Keeper, Neves, Meteos, Magnetica, Picross DS, and even more !
For me, the DS is really the dream machine that makes me playing games again in theses days.

25. Originally I wasn't interested in hand-held gaming. But after picking up a pair of GameBoy Color consoles for my kids (boy & girl twins), I started to take interest. My kids were very young at the time but still managed to learn and later master the GameBoy Color and the hand full of games we owned. A few years later they did so well in school that I got them both a pair of GameBoy SP consoles (Blue & Silver) at the end of the school year. Their gaming skills grew stronger, and so did my longing for a console of my own. I found it tough to lobby for playing time on the kids personal handheld's so I picked up a refurbished GameBoy SP (Onyx)for myself......I was hooked! Later I upgraded myself to a Polar White DS and life was never the same again. After my kids had another awesome school year I upgraded them both to the DS (Coral Pink for my daughter, and Onyx Black for my son). We have a decent collection of games that offers a variety of game play styles. The three of us are totally hooked on the DS. Last summer I picked up the M3 DS Simply.....my son is very jealous! Maybe I'll pick up a pair of R4's for him and his sister if they do well in school this year.....we will see.

26. Castlevania is an instant system seller for me.
That's why I've owned the fat DS since mid '05 (and the black Lite the day it came out), and I recently bought a slim PSP.
But ever since I bought the my DS, the system's library has grown immensely and is very diverse. I love the fact that I can choose to play a text adventure like Phoenix Wright one day and play a traditional platformer like Yoshi's Island DS. Up until recently it's been my most played system and probably up on my list of favorite systems of all time, next to SNES, the Dreamcast and PS2.

21. I was in Japan and needed something that could understand written kanji without being $300... and of course, THEN I needed Ouendan and some brain training.
