Yesterday,
we said that Capcom was releasing
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney too quickly after
Trials and Tribulations and the closely related Harvey Birdman game. But then we saw these English screenshots and our emotions took over. Get here as soon as you can,
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney!
We just can't wait to play the thing and learn about all the over-the-top quirks of the new cast. Who cares if, once we're basically caught up with the Japanese release schedule, we'll have to wait like two years for the next game? We prefer our gratification instant.

I want them to release it sooner. Capcom America's attitude on this game is truly MING BOGGLING! "Hey, we've got this AWESOME GAME, but we'll only release it if you buy TONS of the 4-Year-old game first. Even then, we'll only THINK about translating the next installment." It doesn't build up hype for me, instead just enrages.

Well, I don't know why that would enrage you, they just don't want to release something unless there is a demand for it. I know I will enjoy the game, and I would even pick up Harvey Birdman if they were released on the same day. Great series, I am sure this one will be fun too. It can never come too soon! Don't tell that to Nintendo though.

Magician girl sidekick. I love the silliness of this series.
Screw realism! If I ever get found innocent for a murder I didn't commit, I'd want confetti to rain down too.

Actually, I read a review of the Japanese version and it lamented that the characters are notably LESS over the top in this one than they were in the Phoenix Wright ones. It even said that the crazy "blow your top" expressions of characters once you've exposed them as murderers and whatnot that was made famous in the Wright games are non-existent in this one. It also lamented that the opposing prosecuting attorneys were less intimidating and more casual than the Wright ones. Hopefully the Western localization will somewhat remedy these things, but I still would like Apollo Justice sooner rather than later.

It's only four-years-old to Japanese readers. To the rest of us, it's brand new. ;)

I can't wait! I just finished Trials and Tribulations, it was FANTASTIC! I'm so going to miss Phoenix...I really hope we see him often in Apollo Justice. I have no idea how the writers come up with the cases, especially in Trials...I literally could not put my DS down!

I am a Phoenix Wright lover. It is one of those games that you can't just leave it without finishing it. I now have an intrest in lawyers and courtroom shows, thanks to that game. I cannot wait until Apollo Justice comes.
