DS Daily: INAPPROPRIATE!

Many of us cart our DS systems around with us all over the place, planning to play a bit between classes, or in the waiting room, or just whenever an opportune moment occurs. But where do you consider an inappropriate DS-playing location? For a surprisingly large number of you, the bathroom is not such a location. But a Halloween party? Inappropriate!

Where might you decide naah, maybe now is not the time? In a restaurant? A movie theater? In class? During a job interview? Climbing a mountain? In the cockpit of the Space Shuttle? While exchanging wedding vows?

21. I win: while driving. I only actually *look* at the thing while stopped at a red light, but sometimes I'll leave it on with something I can do eyes-off, like walking very far in a straight line in an RPG or tapping through screens of text during a cutscene you can't skip, or listening to voice-overs. If you can do it one-handed without looking, it's no more distracting than dialing a cell phone or changing the radio station.

23. I was also going to say "at a funeral", but then I remembered that no, I've done that!

While driving, maybe? Nope, done that... takes the edge off the long traffic jams (sometimes it causes them, but, hey, it's YOUR insurance).

I would say that the only places innapropriate for the DS are the places where the little gadget won't work, such as underwater, in the shower, in the surface of the Sun, etc...

24. I used to play my GBA during 4th year English movies. They seriously tried to teach us literature through video *ugh*

Anyway I play my DS on the way home (driving), but only at red lights. And since all you have to do is close the lid to suspend the games it's not as dangerous as you might think.

25. At home when I'm meant to by tidying the place I'll sit there and play on my DS instead. Highly inappropriate.
