DS Daily: LOL!

Being the jovial types that we are, there's nothing we enjoy more than a good, hearty belly laugh, and sometimes we struggle to contain our mirth while getting our DS on.

WarioWare: Touched! was perhaps the first title to really make us laugh out loud, and more recently Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and the Ace Attorney games have coaxed a titter or two from us. It's also worth noting that Kaboom Kaboom and Insecticide both look like they could contain a good few chuckles.

We can't be alone in this respect, so which DS games crack you up?

The post-modern, self-referential humour in the Mario RPGs (like the DS's Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time) always cracks me up.

"I WILL ROXOR YOU AND THEN ROFL" That line made me laugh a bit in M&L:Partners in Time.

I remember laughing a few times when playing Rocket Slime, and after teaching my neighbors phrases, they can usually get me to gigglin' in Animal Crossing

I second Rocket Slime. Quality gaming right there. I also found Duck Amuck very funny, but then pissing off ducks has always made me laugh.

Damn, I had two games to mention. Of course there are two comments each one picks a game I had in mind: M&L Partners in Time was great as was Rocket Slime.

partners in time was the most amusing ds title for me. however, sam & max hit the road is available on homebrew, which made me laugh more than any game. the writing and voice acting is terrific.

I've found myself laughing really loudly at at all of the Mario RPG and Ace Attorney games. That's why I usually played Phoenix Wright when my roommate was gone...

I just laughed and laughed as I was first playing Elite Beat Agents. I think it was mostly just how bad I was... but the game has a very large dose of the ridiculous, so it was a good combination.

Yeah, Ouendan and EBA are funny: I really laughed at the one line in Duck Amuck where Daffy says 'Stragety Quest Games' (intentional mispelling, as he says STRAJITTY which is the funny part). But honestly, I think that Custom Robo Arena, despite all its silly text, had a large share of Guffaws. I don't remember any of them, but I remember being amused left and right by that game.
