They're much less interesting (and much less offensive) than the
styli we featured in our anti-gift guide last week, but Keys Factory's colorful Touchpen Leashes have two things going for them:
- Small grooves near the tip of the stylus for increased gripability
- An extendable, coiled strap that ties onto your Nintendo DS, ensuring that the stylus is never far from your system
If you have a habit of forgetting to slip your stylus back into its slot and losing it shortly afterwards, you might actually find this trinket useful! Otherwise, you could always hang it on your
Christmas tree as an ornament and a sign of your supreme tackiness. The Touchpen Leashes sell on Play Asia for about five bucks each and come in five different flavors: Orange, Mint, Brown, Peach, and Melon. Stretch past the break to preview a couple of those other variations.

I would use that to leash a lite stylus to my phat.

Oh my god, I love you for this idea.
I have got to get one of these for my little brother NOW. That kid lost both of his styli for his Phat, plus the 3 in the accessory pack we got him.
Seriously, you'd think styli are the spawn of Houdini with the way this kid loses them.

I've accidentally thrown my stylus while playing games in the pass. Although it probably aimed for younger kids who are more likely to lose their stylus... or eat it.

These accessories never take into account other 3rd party accessories like cases... That wouldn't fit in a good load of 3rd party carry cases or protective cases while attached to the DS...

Conversely, a lot of case makers don't take into account the fact that you may want to access and use the strap holes and/or other ports on the DS.

That's why people like me knit our own cases because we're sick of cases that allow no real access to, well, anything.

I want one, but there's one problem: It looks like a stick of melon pocky and I want to eat it.
