It was a good year for games with titles beginning with the letter "P" -- at least, according to you guys. When
asked, you didn't hesitate to rattle off some of your favorite titles of the year, from
Phantom Hourglass to
Puzzle Quest, and now the time has come to crown the winner. Just to make things interesting, we're allowing you to choose more than one game -- and to vote more than once (though only once per day). So get in there and duke it out, DS fans. There's a
title at stake.
Tomorrow, we'll take a look at some of the year's other great games, those selections that didn't receive quite as much attention when we asked you to name your favorites, but all the same, games that are deserving of a little extra time in the spotlight.

I love several of the games on this list but had to vote for Etrian Odyssey since it is an under appreciated gem.

Yeah, and wasn't Worms 2 released this year? That should go up on the list as well.

Tomorrow, guys, there'll be another poll. This was for the games mentioned most when we asked -- tomorrow, we'll have one that featured the other games, so there'll be two tiers of selections. Something for everyone, I promise. :)

What, no front mission ;_; that game is awesome and will hold me over until FFTA2 comes out. Ah well, I'd have to say Contra 4 for the perfect gameplay, great hidden content and bringing back old school memories ^_^. Sad to see its not winning though, cursed Zelda >.

I'm with Ben. Another great "P" game! Although Phantom Hourglass was pretty incredible too, I'm really digging Trials and Tribulations.

WTF...no Cooking Mama 2? No Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales?
I CRY HAX!
However, I admit, in my opinion, it's between Phantom Hourglass & Diamond/Pearl, anyways. I can't decide which is better, being able to breed Pokemon and swap them with people around the world, or being able to use the stylus to draw on the map...hrmm...
Oh well, I can vote for boy, buahah!

This was a hard choice. This year I spent the most time playing Pokemon, because I partake in a lot of tourneys. Puzzle Quest and Picross are both amazing games that are very kind budget wise. Even though Phantom Hourglass was one of the easier games, more expensive games, and less time consuming games. I definitely had the most fun playing it, and it was definitely the highlight of my DS year. So, I give my vote to Phantom Hourglass!

It's unfortunate that Treasure's great fighter gets ignored so much just because it's an anime game. Thems is the works. Bleach: Blade of Fate gets my vote. It's occupied many a nights since the Japanese version came out. I have 3 versions of the game so far (Bleach DS, Bleach DS 2nd, Bleach: BoF) and I love all of them.
