Yes, we know that one of the themed games in the Paint by DS catalogue is centered around painting military vehicles, but we're still mystified every time we see something from the title. Is penciling and shading the side of a bomber particularly zen? Or is it just that it's completely manly? If so, we can only hope you still have a headband or two lying around. In the meantime, you can check out some new screens. Shockingly, they include military vehicles. Yeah, we're still surprised by that.Really. Tanks? What happened to great works of art, or kittens, or Jesus?

hell yea , i love old ww1 and ww2 vehicles , and obviously my DS so this is one old fart who is interested in this game for sure !
I already have the Colors DS Homebrew painting game/app which is fantastic fun so i have high hopes for this title.
Happy New Year to all fanboys btw , hopefully my mates in work can get their beloved DS's sometime this year when they are finally back in stock here in Liverpool.

Really? I love WWII vehicles too (particularly fighters, like Spitfires and Mustangs) and I'm not an old fart!! Cuz I'm 15!!! So yeah. Bridging the gap between older and younger people is as simple as liking WWII stuff. Cool. But yeah, that does look like loads of fun. When's it going to be released?

Well, there is another game like this, Paint by DS.
It seems to be the same, except for the fact that you are supposed to paint veggies, fruit and landscapes.
I'd prefer a "real" painting software for my DS, like the one Bob Sabiston is currently working on. It's name is Inchworm, and Mr. Sabiston is looking for a publisher, as far as I know. Sabiston is the guy who invented Rotoshop, the program they used to give "A Scanner Darkly" that special look, btw.
If you want to have a look at Inchworm you can check it out on his homepage:
