I'm more interested in single player play. I usually just want to sit and play my DS when I have time and be able to put it down when I need to, not be tied to a match.

Online Play because its so awesome to battle with people around the world. Plus it has voice chat so that makes it sweeter. It would be a really great experience for me to finally play the series.

Single player. I tried playing online once in Mario Kart and a few times in Tetris. Got my ass kicked soundly. I'm just not hardcore enough to compete with the rest of the world.

Single player definitely, if the game isn't any good I'm not gonna bother with getting better at it and taking it online.

Grew up on single player, and will stay with single player.
Until, of course, I'm 100% satisfied with my progress then I'll venture online. I have no wireless access in my home though >.

Mostly single player. Whenever I go online with random opponents, I get smashed. I do okay on game night though. :)

With multiple humans, it takes a long time to play. The single player usually keeps me busy long enough for the next Advance Wars style game to hit the streets. I loved the last three AWs.
