Single player. Online sounds intriguing, but I'm not that interested in it.

I'm more interested in single player to see what they've done with the game...multiplayer with the various friends codes annoys me most times.

I didn't know there even was online play...
Anyway, I'm interested in single player, since I want to know the story, and besides, playing multiplayer is more fun in person...

I think most will say online, but I still enjoy a good, old-fashioned single player campaign.

I'll probably suck at online but I'm really excited to try it. With the single player campaign there's usually one right way to win each mission but online every battle will be different.

I am much more interested in single player. Battling against a human opponent sounds like fun, but nothing beats wiping out the enemy in a story-centric battle.

Singleplayer. If the local multiplayer weren't multicart, that would be fun. But finding someone else with a copy of the game is a chore. And wi-fi games aren't fun if you don't know the person you're bombing the crap out of.

Multiplayer. I love single player games - do not get me wrong, but competing, especially in a strategic environment, is crazy fun. Nothing like trying to figure out your opponent's strategy and then appropriately responding in the nick of time to kick their ass.

Online play ftw, I have been waiting for this feature for forever. I've always felt that multiplayer was the best part of the series.
