Having recently wrapped up Professor Layton and the Curious Village, we've been left with nothing to do but curl up and gently rock ourselves in the corners of our bedrooms, pausing only to twitch or shake, and refusing to eat. No, not the sequels -- we already know about those, silly. Instead, Japanese gamers will soon be able to rent a compilation known as Level 5 Premium Gold from music rental specialists Tsutaya. This desirable collection contains demos of two Level 5 games --
More frustratingly still, this compendium was given away for free back at last September's Tokyo Game Show, under the name of Level 5 Premium Silver. This can only lead to one outcome: Professor Layton and the Ridiculously Pricey Ebay Auctions.

I just beat Professor Layton last night. But yeah, I'd love to get my hands on this, even though I couldn't read it. Japan gets all the sweet stuff.

I know it's impractical to give north America every game that Japan gets but this is the type of thing that gets me. Japan has Club Nintendo, Japan has game giveaways and free Game and Watch collections and games with awesome peripherals Slide Mag Adventure and Araknoid.
All the while, North America gets more NintenDogzzz sequels and PetZZ GameZZ.
I wish N.O.A. gave a shit about A.
I can only hope this version makes it's way overseas in the next professor Layton game's bonus features.
And at least the download puzzle this week was pretty fun, I hope the rest are as good.
