We're sorry, but you'll have to excuse our bleating. You see, we just clapped eyes on the latest round of screens from Vol. 34 THE Haisha (translation: Vol. 34 THE Dentist), and can't stop cringing. Just look at that plier-on-tooth action on the right, and tell us it doesn't make you want to grimace as well.
Like most people, we're not fans of the dentist, so why we'd want to relive the experience through a gaming handheld that is supposed to be fun is beyond us (though in the last batch of comments we received on D3's dentistry sim, revenge was mentioned as a possible motive for playing this).
Call us crybabies all you like, but we challenge any of you to visit the gallery below and not wince at least once.

Ugh, I winced before I even read the "we challenge any of you to visit the gallery below and not wince at least once" part.

Firstly: yes, the DS is region-free. Hurray!
Secondly: The game releases in Japan on March 13, and Play-Asia has it for just under $30:

Thanks Chris!
Sorry for the threadjack, but;
Now...I hate to sound like a retard, but I just discovered this site (and the wonderful Japanese DS releases!) a month ago; but do people translate these games? Or at least the instruction manuals? Living in California, I'm still stumbling over my spanish let alone trying to learn Japanese. I'm all for the imports, but if I'm missing stuff (like lengthy expositions in RPG's) I'd rather not get bogged down.

How much exposition could there possibly be in a *dentistry* simulator?

OMG! I've been waiting for a game like this. I'm a dental student and I actually just got on lunch break from extracting a tooth this morning. Now I can practice inflicting pain on patients in my spare time on my DS! Mwwhahah... jk.
