Just when we thought we had played the last great GBA game, Siliconera pointed us towards Samurai Deeper Kyo, a slick action title recently brought to the US by Destineer. Marvelous Interactive published it in Japan back in 2002, but that doesn't take away from how fun it looks! The game only comes packed as a bonus with the Samurai Deeper Kyo anime series DVD set, so you'll find it difficult to acquire a copy.
Anyway, the idea of having another GBA release to look forward to finding and playing reminded us how long it's been since we tapped that bottom box on the DS's initial menu screen. Months! How long has it been for you? And what was the last GBA game you loaded up?

I keep my GBA Micro with me at all times, so I play it pretty frequently. Last game I loaded was King of Fighters EX 2.

Last game I played Link to the Past, which was some time last week (that game is so hard, long, and boring. I just want it to end).
I've been looking for a legitimate copy of FF6, but every reputable store is out of stock, or priced at an extortionate amount. I would try ebay but I've been burnt too many times with fake GBA games over the years on that site. It's really hard to tell.

You think one, if not the, greatest Zelda games of all time is boring? You're not a nintendo fanboy. You're an impostor.

Long and boring, I guess that's an opinion (however wrong it may be), but A Link to the Past is hard? HUH?!?!?!?!?!?!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Phantom Hourglass>>>>>Link to the Past.
You can tell this game was made for a console and not a handheld: the dungeons are well too long - and, unless you wish to start a dungeon again, you cannot save your progress once inside. This means it's really impossible to play in short spurts, unlike Hourglass which has shorter dungeons.
Also, the game lacks the charm of Hourglass (no Navi/Ciela). And there is no real story, just some events - though I haven't completed it yet.
It's a good game, but rather tiresome.

Yeah, my micro gets alot of use...in the last 2 months I've played Aria of Sorrow, Zero Mission & CIMA: the Enemy. Right now I have Final Fantasy advance IV. I don't use the gba slot much since I switched from the original to the lite.

I leave Torneko 3 in my GBA slot at all times and was even playing it a bit as I eagerly await the porting of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
I still amazes me how Torneko 3 GBA is an EXACT port of the PS2 game with the obvious exception of the graphics (isometric claymation in the PS2) which they managed to have instead emulate the graphical style of Torneko: The Last Hope on PS1.

Most recently was some homebrew stuff I had made a few years ago (before I got gobbled up by the psuedo-programming world of web development, bleh).
But before that the most recent was Astro Boy, one of the best (and most overlooked) games ever made (It's from Treasure, 'nuff said!)

Right now the bottom port has FFVI sitting in it, which I play daily on my commute (I'm about 1/3 of the way through). I've also recently played Advance Wars 2 and Fire Emblem: SS. Come to think of it, other than Prof. Layton all I've played for the past month and a bit is GBA games.

I'm shocked no one has mentioned Golden Sun 1 or 2! Don't play them much anymore, but in the days of old where the GBA was a hip thing to have on hand, not much else came out of my gameboy's humble little slot.

Pokemon Emerald.
Currently working on getting enough Battle Points to get Ice Punch on a Dragonite who will soon be enjoying HOT DRAGON ON ALLIGATOR ACTION. The resulting Ice Punch/Dragon Dance Totodile shall rock the casbah.

Dang it! I already have the entire seires of Samurai Deeper Kyo. Do I really want to get it again just for the GBA bonus?! Dang nab my fanboyism for the SDK series, the anime isn't all that good compared to the manga (I mean, why did they have to make the normal enemies Demons, the manga had better personality). Ah well, I'll most likely be getting it ;_;.
