If you've played through the whole series: do you like the new characters? Will you play future games starring Apollo and friends? Are you interested in his storyline? Have you ordered your own red vest for Apollo cosplay?
If Apollo Justice is your first Ace Attorney game: how did that happen?

Now granted, I may have a slightly skewed perspective (I'm only on case 2, but I'm 90% of the way through it), but the new cast really is not growing on me.
Then again, when I played Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix was a continual bumbler and I mostly wanted to strangle Maya. I like Apollo (though his 'WHAAAAAT?!' face looks absolutely stupid - where did his teeth go?), but Trucy's just as clueless as Maya, and...
Phoenix. I can't stand his attitude. They did the impossible: they turned Phoenix Wright into a complete ass. Ugh.
Like I said, though, in PW1, Phoenix was kind of the annoying newb too, and Maya was just annoying, so hopefully as the Ace Attorney series continues, Apollo and company'll grow on me.

I'm a big fan of the series since the first Gyakuten Saiban was translated to English. And I must say that this game is at least equally good as all others, if not better (aesthetically-wise). After three games and having the same characters over and over again, I love seeing the new cast. I, for one, like Trucy more than Maya and while you don't play as Phoenix anymore, he's still the main character the story revolves around, and I'm cool with that.
Now, I can't wait for Gyakuten Saiban 5 to be released - the final game in the series and supposedly longer than all previous games (including GS1 with the extra case).

I was extremely excited/apprehensive about the first DS Native GS game.
I got it on release date and "paced myself" to finish it about 4 or 5 days later. That's quick considering I'm a full time college student with too many people to make sure she stays in the "real" world...Please, who needs food/sleep? Caffeine is my only nutrient.
Anyway. I loved it. The Wrighting (hahhh....so punny...) was awesome. The music, gameplay, story, and art were also fantastic. It's probably my favorite of the series, but I'm replaying from GS1 to make sure. ^___^;;;
If someone is new to the series, though, I would (and have) start them off at the first one. I feel like this latest installment is more for veterans than newbies...which is good. The story wouldn't have been nearly as compelling if I hadn't already been a drooling fangirl already.Plus, the player doesn't have to start all over from simple cases just because of a new bunch of characters.
Overall, I'm impressed and am glad to see that Capcom is continuing the series.

I was very impressed with the title. All of the DS-specific features breathed some new life to the series. And I think the change in cast was warranted; I don't think Phoenix would be a bumbling rookie attorney after six years undefeated. Trucy nicely filled the absent-minded assistant role admirably; the only person I was disappointed in was Klavier; he's no Edgeworth.
And at first I was mad that they turned Phoenix into a jerk, but if I was disbarred because I was set up with fake evidence, I'd turn into a cynic too.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is a truly a game fitting to be the fourth of the Gakyuten Saiban series. Despite an almost complete recast of the characters, Apollo Justice does not disappoint. Further more the the over the top writing and situations do well to keep in Phoenix Wright Tradition.
AJ:AA, also provides the welcome addition of the lost feature of the Last Chapter of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the addition of forensics. All this and more provide an unforgettable game with characters that one becomes ever more attached to as the game progress.
In this humble gamer's mind, I look forward to the next Adventure of Apollo Justice, though i wouldn't mind seeing Phoenix Wright back on the Bench!
Rating:
Story: Simply astounding, more than up to par with the Ace Attorney Series, 8/10
Dialog: As always this is what makes Gakyuten Saiban so great! 9/10
Character:Dialog is nothing without the zany characters that are behind the words. Superb Character development! 8/10
Graphics: Sadly like all the Ace Attorney's the Graphics aren't the best lol but they suffice for the game! infact they're much better than the preceding games of the Series, 7/10
Innovation: won't delve too deep into this got a 6pg research paper ;-;
Price:$29.99 (bought from Amazon.com) TOTALLY WORTH IT even the 7 dollar 2nd day delivery fee!!!!
