It's always a bummer when the only thing stopping us from playing games we covet is our inability to read Japanese. Yet, are we just "the grass is always greener" kind of folks, or are there some DS games out there that you're hoping to see localized, too?
If so, which games top your list?

Jump Allstars is overated. Unless you're into men with man boobs tackling other men with man boobs, with a spinking of spiky hair.
I want those Suda games. Whatever they're called.

Unou no Tatsujin Soukai Machigai Museum 2 (spot difference game..#1 is already ported, Quickspot)
Taiko no Tatsujin DS - Touch de Dokodon! (won't happen but very popular in Japan, bang that drum)
Hijouguchi - Exit DS (great puzzler escape to exit and save burn victims)
Death Note games (all 3 of them...ain't ever gonna happen though...great manga, anime, movie, etc.)
The following PUzzle Series titles are awesome wish they go ported for wider audience..yes I know of homebrew Puzzle Maniak (beta tested many releases) but interface/presentation for instance on Slither Link not as slick.
Puzzle Series Volume 5 - Slither Link (the best of the best)
Puzzle Series Volume 6 - Illust Logic (better interface than Picross but nobody knows that)
Puzzle Series Volume 12 - Akari (shine the light love it)
other ones are 4 - Kakuro, 11 - Nurikabe and 10 - Hitori
Any Japanese Go (i-go) game but that'll never happen either.

I-go would be nice indeed. Too bad there wasn't one that rode the wave of Hikaru-maina we had a few years back. The DS touch‐screen seems made to order for a nice game of Go. I doubt very much that the AI is any good, but any sort of download-play capability would make the DS the best travel set ever.
On a related note - Clubhouse games has Shougi (which i find impossible to play because I can never tell the pieces apart) but left out Go for some reason. Has anyone played any of the DS Go games?

And Itagaki Street DS, but that's coming so I don't have to hope anymore. :)
And Etrian Odyssey 2.

I already have the Ouendan games so I don't care if they are localized (which they will never be).
I would want Taiko no Tatsujin DS as well as some other rhythm games to be localized (but not Americanized please...)

I'd like to see Mother 3 make it over as well as Rhythm Tengoku, think rhythm meets Wario Ware, it was made by the same team. They were the last great GBA games, and it's a shame more people won't get to experience them. I picked them both up when I was living in Japan and between them and Ouendan, they were some of the best games I played there.

This one has been on my list for a long time - Phoenix Wright-style gameplay, except you're a hacker instead of a lawyer.

Yeah Jump Stars. Licensing issues are no excuse since Viz owns most of the Shueshia licenses. They've got a great deal of the series included.

Theta-Really awesome puzzle game involving fish.
The Tower DS-Granted it's not out yet but based on The Tower SP sales I am not counting on Sega to pick this one up.
Aquazone-Another Fish Tank game.

No need for translations any more!
I'm really happy that I decided to learn Japanese at university 7 years ago. Now I can play a lot of gems that will never reach our shores. :)
A Master's degree in economics for example wouldn't let me play (and understand) Soma Bringer, Game Center CX, Dragon Quest IV, Final Fantasy IV and many others right now. :D
