Tell us about your games library -- well, the DS portion. Is it full of variety? Do you own a whole different assortment of games? (Perhaps some rhythm ones, some sports titles, a few RPGs, etc?) Or, can the games you own be lumped into one or two general categories?
Extra credit will be given to anyone who sends us their answer in graph and spreadsheet form. (Note: Not really! In fact, don't do that.)

I just picked it up. I have a little boy who plays the DS, so my collection is split between games I play, and the ones he does. Yesterday I picked up Professor Layton, and my favorite series of all time is advance wars, so Days of Ruin is keeping me busy. He has Smart Boys Room, My Sims, and Mario Party.

I have a nice mix of different kinds of games, I think. Just like the rest of my game collection. :P I like pretty much every type of game besides sports and realistic racing.

I have a variety of games. I have RPGs, 2d and 3d Platformers, Adventure Games, Racing Games (Mario Kart style racing), A flight game (star fox), Tactical RPGs, A sports game (mario hoops), and action games.
I also play fighting games (on other consoles) and pretty much any kind game with the exception of casual games (puzzle games and non games like brain age). I would never waste my time with casual games.

I don't consider puzzle games to be casual, even if they are.

I haven't had a DS long, so I only have like 5 or 6 games.
Adventure/RPG: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time (Preordered), Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Brain Training: Brain Age 2
Games that are really suckish and I wish I didn't have: Master of Illusion
Other than those, I have a list of all the games that I want to have sometime in the future. I have it saved in Excel. :D

So many of my DS games are genre-defying to the point that I'd have to list half of my games as "other." As far as more conventional genres go, I'd put the rest as RPGs, 2D sidescrollers/platformers/etc, and a dash of puzzle, TCG, and rhythm. I have the most diverse genre representation on the DS of any system I own--my PS2 collection is 70% RPG, my Gamecube collection is 70-80% Nintendo standards, My Xbox collection is...erm...a copy of Bionicle with a case stained by red kool-aid that my aunt got at a yard sale for 50 cents, thinking I had one o' those newfangleded X-Cubes.

I don't really buy games based on genre... so I feel like I have a decent collection, full of variety. Let's see, in random order:
Party/Rhythm: Feel the Magic XY/XX, Elite Beat Agents
RPG: Final Fantasy III, Puzzle Quest
Sports/Racing: Mario Kart DS
Puzzle: Meteos, Sim City DS
Pinball: Metroid Prime Pinball
Action/Adventure: Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
Platform: Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles
Admittedly, there are a few there I wouldn't mind selling... SimCity was a disappointment, and I'll just stick with the Gamecube version of GoldenEye: Rogue Agent. And i'll beat Assassin's Creed, then sell it... it's kind of fun, but I can tell that the replayability will be zilch. But yeah, nice varied, fun collection. Kudos to me!
