A bit of background on Cyberfront -- you might recognize the company's name for its localizations of PC titles, like The Orange Box and Civilization IV, in Japan. Cyberfront's DS catalog includes Ryoukiki Exercise, New Zealand Story DS, and Inugaisha (Dog Company).
So, what could Ikatan be? A cooking game limited to squid recipes? An undersea SRPG dominated by armies of cephalopods? A Super Mario Bros. remake played from the perspective of a wandering Blooper? Give us your best guesses!

It could just be Ika-tan, considering that -tan is an honorific.
But that has to be the most unappetizing image of a squid I've ever seen...seriously, I've liked squid when I've eaten it in the past but if the opportunity ever comes again I'm going to have that image permanently burned into my mind.

Ikachan pc remake?
Ikachan was a game made by the people who made Cave Story. Cave Story was a spiritual descendant of Ikachan.

I think you nailed it. It fits the company type of games, the squid teaser page, and looks something that can work well with the stylus.
Tan > chan, so I expect a evolution of the original game.
You can download the PC version here: http://www.tinsanity.net/ikachan/

search for Cave Story on Google and you find a download link easily. But it's a diferent theme/slightly different gameplay, though.
There's a wikipedia entry for both, very interesting read, IMHO.
