We love cases of all sorts, but our favorites are the creative storage solutions, from candy boxes to tins of all types. Every DS owner has different needs, depending on where and when they play (and their accessories of choice), which means that retail cases can't always come through. So what's a gamer to do when all the regular solutions fail? Reader Brent had one idea that we liked; collect your stuff and head past the break to see it in action.
Brent took a CD wallet, removed the inserts, and packed in everything he needed for gaming on the go. It holds games, the DS Lite (within its case), and the charger. This, dear readers, is a neat little package of pure happiness.

Show and Tell is all about your stuff, so long as it's Nintendo-related. We love to see your collections, your crafts, your frosted creations, your t-shirts and swag of all sorts. Just snap a few pictures, tell us what's up, and send it all to showmeit [at] dsfanboy [dot] com. We'll take care of the rest.

Not bad at all! I had to opt for a camera case so my DS, PSP and all their games/accessories could fit together nicely. Maybe I'll stick my SP and all my old GB games in a cd case like that.

I was using the same thing - a CD case without the insert - for my GBA Micro + charger. The problem now is that I don't have a sleeve for my DS so I'm afraid the zipper will scratch it. One of my favorite things about the Micro was that it came with a protective bag.

Am I the only one who wishes there was something similar to the old 3.5" floppy binders for DS carts? I can't see it being too much of an engineering challenge.

Someone has made a sleeve binder. DS Fanboy has written articles about them before:

For storage I just use the DS card case that came with the Portrait of Ruin preorder package.

Hey, Brent here.
Thanks for posting this dsfanboy:D
The case around my ds is from ebay. It holds the DS perfectly, and it doesnt move around at all within the cd wallet. Cost me under $10 shipped to Canada.
Apparently those sleeve binders are made on the cheap and the individual holders rip. My ultimate goal was to opt for an all-in-one case. This worked perfect for me, and I could fit another 3, 3x cases in there easily.
