Sure, it's from a PSP game, but we can all admit that, aside from that small flaw, this video is pretty sweet. Apparently, this PSP game lets you create and download custom stages. From the looks of this recreation of 1-1 in Super Mario Bros., we're sure there are plenty of other sweet homages to other iconic gaming levels available for it, as well. Of course, the only problem with this user-created stage is that it lacks the music from the original Super Mario Bros. game. But, that's to be expected.
Someone let us know when there's a user-created stage that is modeled after the introductory level in Castlevania.

The gameplay looks so sloooow. It was agonizing just to watch it. I'm really glad that there is no loading time on the DS.

I was gonna say the same. That game looks unbearably slow.

I didn't mean to replay to you but well I'm here.
Is not the PSP fault, I have the game and it moves a lot faster. Most be a problem with the video compression or failtube.

Sorry, Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X are probably gonna stay dead. They sold horribly, both in Japan and America (dunno about European sales).
In Megaman's homeland, both PSP remakes sold as much as MHX did alone in America... which wasn't a lot, from what I've heard.
Sad, huh? :(

The slowmotion is because of irShell, and the fact that it was recorded on PC.
This makes the game alot slower than it actually is.
By the way isn't it funny that all websites come now first with this news ?
I mean the Vid is already hosted since March...

Too bad the art style looks so bad. So many load screans would drive me insane!

Heh,
One of my little quirks is that I compile a list of games that interest me and are released on platforms I'm almost assuredly never going to purchase--at least not unless it's quite a number of years down the road and dirt cheap. In any event, this is one of those games. I love the art style and the concept. Honestly, I can't understand why it's on the PSP and not the DS. Nevertheless, this is the only PSP game on aforementioned list.
It's just nice to look back and realize the number of games that actually attract me are so few in most cases. Or, if they start to rise, it's time to consider a purchase!
Peace,
manaman
