We wouldn't jump up and down in a fit over the greatness of a game without setting aside a few copies for you guys! And since we just loved
The World Ends With You, we're going to give three readers the chance for a crack at Square Enix's brilliant new outing. All you have to do is leave a comment right here on this post telling us what you think the very best DS game you've played is. If you were reviewing, what would be closest to the magical ten? We want to know, and that comment may just snag you a copy of
The World Ends With You ($39.99).
The contest will run through Monday, May 12; that night, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, entries will close, and we'll choose three winners in a random drawing. To enter, you must be
18 or older, and a current legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). Have questions? Check the official rules.

Tough call. I'm looking at my stack right now and the one that I can't seem to look away from is Elite Beat Agents. I don't care what anyone says about the soundtrack - the visuals, the simple gameplay, and the overall vibe of the game made it something truly special.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I loved mystery stories as a kid (Encyclopedia Brown was awesome), so I decided to give this game a shot and see what everyone was talking about. I fell in love with it immediately. It was the first adventure game I had played in nearly a decade, and it reminded me why I liked that genre: excellent story-telling, memorable characters, funny dialogue, and intricate mysteries. The third game is my favorite of the series, but the first one holds a special place in my heart.

To-date, I do not think that there have been any games that I can consider that perfect "10". Phantom Hourglass is nice, Tetris is nice, Mario Kart is nice, Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice are nice, but seriously it's all stuff we've seen before.
If I could forecast, I'd say Dementium looks to be poised to be the best game on the DS; thanks to a combination of quality, and something complete different.

The best game I've played on the DS is Jump Ultimate Stars. I've always loved the gameplay of SSB, and this is a great alternative for everyone who loves anime.
If I reviewed this game, I would give it a 9.5, just for the fact that the game should have been sped up.

I think Trauma Center: Under the Knife is the very best DS game! I loved it.

Final Fantasy III. It was a great remake of a classic game and really showed the power of the DS.
Plus, I'm a sucker for anything Final Fantasy.

My favorite game on the DS by far has had to be Pokemon Diamond.
Now hear me out on this one, yes it doesn't deliver an entirely new fresh experience like the older versions, but it's probably the deepest one out there. For people like me that play the game to train their favorite kinds of critters and battle with close friends, it's an absolute blast! It can be a game geared towards the young crowd, or even to the competitive hardcore gamers.
You can finally have almost any Pokemon from any of the games through the new features, including online battles.
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl are in my opinion, the best Pokemon games yet. What it lacks in innovation, it delivers on depth.

Best DS Games:
1. Kirby: Canvas Curse- one of the first and still one of the best demonstrations of touch controls.
2. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan- the reason I got a DS.

As revenge for "Royal Escape" and the (literally) 5000+ moves i made before finally solving it, I will not say professor layton. Instead, I pick the New Super Mario Brothers as the best I've played.

For me, it would have to go to the New Super Mario Bros. Can't beat the classics.

I love all the DS games I have, but I wouldn't say any of them are the "best". I haven't found that magic one yet that you play over and over again.

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, I think. But other than that, I loved every minute I spent with Mario Kart DS.
