We wouldn't jump up and down in a fit over the greatness of a game without setting aside a few copies for you guys! And since we just loved
The World Ends With You, we're going to give three readers the chance for a crack at Square Enix's brilliant new outing. All you have to do is leave a comment right here on this post telling us what you think the very best DS game you've played is. If you were reviewing, what would be closest to the magical ten? We want to know, and that comment may just snag you a copy of
The World Ends With You ($39.99).
The contest will run through Monday, May 12; that night, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, entries will close, and we'll choose three winners in a random drawing. To enter, you must be
18 or older, and a current legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). Have questions? Check the official rules.

I've gotta say, I can play Puzzle Quest over and over... that's my 10 for replayability. I give Ace Attorney 10 for story/quirks, Prof. Layton 10 for play mechanics and mind-bending puzzleiciousness, and Phantom Hourglass and EBA get 10s for their brilliant use of the touch screen. Trauma Center and Contra get 10s for difficulty. I've heard TWEWY is similar, if not better... I've been waiting to get my hands on it so I can give it another 10! :)

Ah, so many to choose from. I'll stick with Phantom Hourglass for this one, though. While it took a little getting used to, the stylus-centric controls ended up handling perfectly once past that learning stage. To date it's the best DS game I've played... then again, I'm a fan of the series so I'm a bit biased. TWEWY looks like it could take a nice place in my modest collection... here's hoping. :D

That would have to be, without a doubt, Elite Beat Agents. It's such a simple premise that has me going back to it again and again.

I'm a BIG Gundam fan (comes with growing up in Japan I guess) so I would half to say that the best game for the DS is GGeneration Cross Drive.

Picross has held my interest for sometime. It's possible that I just haven't tried enough DS games out yet, but there's something really fun about swapping picture puzzles with friends.

Depending on the mood I'm in, I'd say either Luminous Arc, Panzer Tactics, Trauma Center: Under the Knife, or the surprisingly fun Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime.
However, none of those really come close to the mythical "10". They're all in the 8-ish area.

Until there's a Chrono Trigger port or a Lufia II port, I'd actually have to say that WEWY is one of the best things I've played. It DEFINITELY has faults, but it's so damn addictive, with such an awesome battle system that I STILL am trying to master. As for titles not a part of this contest, probably Tetris or Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
PS: I already have a copy of the game, so this post is a little pointless, I just can't resist putting in my two 100¥ Pins...

I'm gonna go with Tetris... It brings me back to my high school days of wasting time playing Tetris on someone's calculator...

Best DS game that I've PLAYED... Pheoix Write: Ace Attorney.
BEST STORY: I really enjoyed Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney. The stories and character development really drew me in.
BEST MUSIC GAME: Elite Beat Agents.
BEST PARTY GAME: Final Fantasy: Chocobo Tales. Great presentation. Good combination of varying complexity games. Cute stories and free play add to replay value. As a con, you have to unlock all the content in single player before being able to use it as a multiplayer game.
BEST DS GAME I HAVEN'T PLAYED: The World Ends With You

Meteos hands down. One of the best combinations of amazing puzzles, addicting music, and, to a much lesser degree, shooting. I seriously love that game so much. I still try to play that at least once a week. And I shouldn't have to state my dissapointment in Disney Ed...

I think Mario Kart is the game I've enjoyed the most and spent the most time with on the DS, so I feel like I have to award it the title by default.

It's got to be a toss up between Layton and the often-overlooked Hotel Dusk.

It would be a toss up between Phantom Hourglass and Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan. They make the best use of the DS and they're excellent games!
