My mom doesn't own a DS, but I remember her being impressed by Super Mario 64 DS (the mini games) and having fun with Meteos.

My mom loves playing Pogo Island (big fan of the website), and she's now liking Brain Age 2 thanks to the demo on the Nintendo Channel.

My mom expressed a lot of interest the other night in Brain Age. I could see her getting into that, Nintendogs, maybe Tetris, and some other casual friendly titles (like sudoku/crosswords, etc).

I gave Crosswords DS to my Mom for Mother's Day.
I got her to buy a Pink DS Lite & Brain Age. Now she has over a dozen games. I bought her Trace Memory, Sonic Rush Adventure & DK Jungle Climber.
Peace.

I was considering buying my mom a DS game for mother's day...and I didn't. She really liked brain age, but she never plays it..and I don't like sharing my DS very much ;) So I got her a GPS instead.

My mother likes video games, but doesn't play them as much. Although, she sure liked watching me and my brothers and sisters play the game (I occasionally had very small seizures). =)

I bought my mother a DS lite for her birthday. She loved the NES and I bought her favorite games for the new DS generation namely Chessmaster and Tetris. She completed Sudoku, Mario VS Donkey Kong 2, and played Brain Age and she is completely totally obssessed with Solitare Overload. Everyday she has to charge up her own DS lite now.
